A dedicated team of seven staff and volunteers from CAR (including trustees and paid staff) recently participated in the annual London Legal Walk, joining 18,000 legal professionals in a 10km walk to raise funds for access to justice on the 18th of June. We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we surpassed our fundraising goal of £1500, raising a total of £1625 to support our important work in the community.
We would like to extend a special thanks to Nigel Brown, a dedicated trustee who, despite being unable to join the main walk in Central London due to work commitments, showed his u nwavering support by walking 10km around Richmond Park to contribute to our fundraising efforts.
